General
Where are Little Stinker™ products manufactured?
All Little Stinker products are proudly manufactured in the USA.
Are your products earth friendly?
We believe in doing everything we can to protect the earth and reduce our carbon footprint. We strive for only the finest natural and organic materials in our products, and use 100% recyclable packaging. Addtionally, we have chosen a local manufacturer close to hour home office to avoid unnecessary shipping (which means less green house gases).
Why is it important to use paraben-free products?
The truth is, there has been a lot of debate over the last few years for and against the use of parabens in cosmetics. As a company, we have chosen to take a very conservative standpoint on this issue and do not formulate our cosmetics with any paraben-containing raw materials. Given that there are very effective alternatives for preserving cosmetics and raw materials, it was never a difficult decision for us to make. Unlike other companies, we are not suggesting that using cosmetics with standard concentrations of parabens is going to cause every imaginable health problem for you and your family. Nor are we invoking “scare-tactics” in an attempt to lure you away from our competition. We simply feel that there is no reason to include them in our products.

If I use the Little Stinker™ Baby Butt Spray, do I still need to bathe my child?
Um... yes. While the Little Stinker Baby Butt Spray smells really really really good, it is not intended as a substitute for actually bathing your kids.

Do I need to wipe off Little Stinker™ Natural Nursing Balm before breastfeeding?
Not unless you want to. When formulating any of our products we take special care to only choose ingredients which are safe for their intended use. Our Natural Nursing Balm is no exception. Each ingredient in this formula was chosen based on its long history of safe use in traditional food applications. In addition, these ingredients are not recognized as common food allergens in children.

Little Stinker™ Cooling Breast Cream
What does Cabbage have to do with Breast Engorgement?
If you read the ingredient list for the Little Stinker™ Cooling Breast Cream, you will notice that the second ingredient is cabbage leaf extract. Many lactation specialists commonly suggest the use of compresses made from green cabbage leaves to reduce discomfort associated with breast engorgement. In fact, there is some evidence cabbage has been traditionally used for this purpose since the early 1800’s. There is also modern scientific evidence to that massage therapy can help minimize engorgement. To us, it just makes common sense to incorporate the benefits of cabbage leaf into a topical cream that can be massaged on the breast.
Can the Cooling Breast Cream be applied to the entire breast?
We recommend that this product is applied in accordance with the directions for use on the label. Because the Cooling Breast Cream contains spearmint oil, it is not recommended for application to the nipple area. The skin-cooling effect provided by the spearmint oil may be too intense or slightly irritating to this area, especially if your nipples are already sore/tender from breastfeeding.
Does the Cooling Breast Cream need to be washed off prior to breastfeeding?
If you follow the directions for use and avoid applying this product to the nipple area, there is no need to wash off before each feeding. However, it is suggested that you wait at least 15 minutes after application to allow the product to fully absorb into the skin. Otherwise, there is a chance the product could transfer directly to your baby’s face.
Will the Cooling Breast Cream stain my clothes?
This product contains botanically-derived oils and butter. As such, we recommend that the product is fully absorbed into the skin before dressing.
